Secondary Structure

I’m actually feeling pretty good about where things stand with this game from a vision, if not a polish perspective. I’m much more comfortable with the environment and am pretty pleased with the core elements that are in place. I’ve got a few pre-alpha copies out looking for feedback, and the chance to talk things through is much appreciated.

Object classes are collapsing back to a more generic state, more and more of good but off target code is getting trimmed and it’s actually beginning to resemble a game.

One thing looming on the horizon is optimization and at the moment I’m not 100% sure how to accomplish that. I’m sure that getting closer to the metal will be involved (which should be interesting) but tools for monitoring heap/memory/CPU usage will have to be explored.
